Changing your thoughts
I read somewhere that the average adult has anywhere between 6,000 to 70,000 thoughts a day (depending on the research). Out of that, around 80% are negative! AND about 90% of our thoughts are repetitive! 🙄 Soooo much negative looping in our heads.
No wonder so many people have so much noise in their heads and are so stressed!
When you become aware the power our thoughts have on your life, then you can start to be more mindful of our internal dialogue and start focusing on how we truly want our life to be. I know it’s not easy to change this but it can be done.
Making time for Self-care
Have you noticed that self-care is often overlooked when we get busy or are feeling stressed? We get so caught up in the moments, and are so consumed with achieving or doing things, that we put our needs last.
But it’s exactly at these times that we need to prioritise and look after our mental, emotional, physical & spiritual health.
The methods of self-care can look different for everyone but it all comes down to what fuels your heart, mind, body and spirit.

Integration after your Reiki or Sound healing session
So you’ve had a Reiki or Sound healing session. For you to get the most out of your session, it’s really important to allow time for integration of the energy that has just moved. Here’s an explanation on how you can do that.
First it’s important to know that every Reiki or Sound healing session is different for each person. And even different for each person every time.
Sometimes a healing session is nurturing and gives you much needed rest or stress relief. And sometimes……
Is your Mobile Phone taking over your life?
If I were to ask you this question, what would your answer be?
When was the last time you went for a walk, took a shower, went to the toilet, to the gym, to bed or ANYWHERE without your phone?
It’s great that we have a computer in our hands. A portable device that can answer even the most silly of questions. But it’s a double edged sword. Most of us are addicted to our phones and the notifications and are really suffering for it.
Reflections on forgiveness
….I used to think forgiveness meant I had to be ok with what a person did in order to move on. But as I have matured, and my perception on the world has shifted, I have realised that forgiveness is a shift that happens within. To me, forgiveness is about allowing ourselves to move on from someone, or something they did without constantly re-attaching ourself back again. It’s letting go of the resentment, the hurt and the pain. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you accept someone’s hurtful actions, but rather that you are willing to move on. It’s a gift to yourself.

7 days at a Meditation retreat in Thailand
Meditation has been a part of my life for many years now. I meditate in group yoga and spiritual classes and also at home. It hasn’t been a consistent daily practise and I admit at times, the quality of my meditations aren’t the best, so when a random Google search found Pai International Meditation Centre, I was intrigued!

Quick anxiety relief: Humming
The other day at yoga, we did a little humming exercise. It was such a lovely exercise that I’ve used over the years to reduce anxiety and it always brings me to a state of calm.
It got me thinking about how such a simple exercise can bring so much peace and calm so quickly. In the past I was a huge anxiety sufferer and have used many techniques in order to help me. And I figured; it it brings me a lot of calm then it might be helpful to others who haven’t experienced this before. So below I will explain to you how to do this little technique and also the benefits you will receive from doing it.

End of year Reflections
The end of the year is a really powerful time to pause & reflect on the year. It’s an opportunity to both honour your progress and release what no longer serves you.
Reflection is two-fold..
The first part is acknowledging and celebrating how far you have come.... And that may look really different for everybody.
Some people may be proud of major achievements, while others might simply be relieved they made it through. Whatever your experience, it's important that you don't compare yourself to anyone else, and focus on your unique journey. Take a few moments to celebrate you………
10 Healthy Boundaries to support you this Festive Season
🎄 The festive season comes with a whirlwind of energy that can feel overwhelming, especially for empaths. Navigating the chaos of Christmas can be challenging, but setting healthy boundaries can make all the difference.
One of the most important boundaries you can establish is learning to say no to events that bring you unnecessary stress. Decline gracefully when possible—and do so without guilt.
If you find yourself needing to participate in events that may be stressful or don’t align with your values, here are some strategies to help you stay grounded and balanced:
Gratitude is the key
When things happen in life, it can be difficult to embrace the concept of gratitude. It can be difficult to find the things that truly fill your heart. But they are there. They are always there. It’s a matter of re-training your habits, and therefore brain, to gain acceptance of your life as it is right now and seeing the good. You need to ask yourself, how do you want to live your life? Glass half-full or glass half-empty? It is up to you to turn yourself around.
