End of year Reflections

As we are now post-Christmas and coming to the end of 2024, the energy has really started to slow down. And it got me thinking about the year and writing a blog on how I feel about the end of the year. So here it is, let me know what you think in the comments below if you have anything to add! Enjoy your read!

The end of the year is a really powerful time to pause & reflect on the year. It’s an opportunity to both honour your progress and release what no longer serves you.

Reflection is two-fold….

End of year reflections blog

The first part is acknowledging and celebrating how far you have come.... And that may look really different for everybody. Some people may be proud of major achievements, while others might simply be relieved they made it through

Whatever your experience, it's important that you don't compare yourself to anyone else, and focus on your unique journey. Take a few moments to celebrate you. Acknowledge yourself; the little wins, the big accomplishments, the personal growth, and the resilience it took to navigate challenges. Every step forward, no matter how small it may seem is a testament to your strength and progress

Go on, do it now.

The second part of reflecting on your year, is to let go & release anything that that no longer serves you. This time of year offers a beautiful chance to release anything that feels heavy or out of alignment with your soul’s joy. This could be anything from toxic relationships, self-doubt, fears, shame, a job that drains you or anything else.

Whatever weighs on your heart or doesn't bring you joy is something you can lovingly release.

The energy of this time of year supports you in acknowledging what no longer serves you. Give yourself permission that you no longer need to carry it.  It's a beautiful act of self-care and renewal. Reflecting and releasing is honouring you

When you gently release what doesn’t serve you, you allow space so that you can enter the new year lighter, freer, and ready to embrace the next chapter of your journey.

Now that you have lovingly acknowledged and released 2024, stay tuned for the next post in this series in the New Year...!
