The process of creating a Spirit Guided drawing
I love creating Spirit Guided drawings, but you might be wondering, what exactly is a Spirit Guided drawing?
To explain that, I probably need to take you back a little.
I attended years of spiritual development classes where I learnt how to quiet my mind and tune in to Spirit. I also participated in many workshops and courses in developing intuition, channelling skills and connecting in with Spirit Guides and passed over loved ones. And in recent years, I attended drawing classes on Spirit Guide Art.
All of this has helped me to develop my intuitive (and art) abilities to be able to talk to Spirit and receive messages. There’s more to it than that, but in summary that’s how I am able to receive guidance from Spirit so I can create these Spirit Guided drawings. Now I say “guided” because Spirit absolutely guide me in the colours, impressions and things they want me to put on paper.
Spirit Guided drawings are pieces of art that are essentially co-created with Spirit. I love that!
Currently I use two mediums; pencil and soft pastels. This blog is about the soft pastel process.
Oh, and here’s a few pics below of some to give you an idea of what I’m talking about!
When a client books a Spirit guided drawing, usually I get visits from their Spirit Guides / Spirit team and they start giving me impressions of what to place on the paper, and what they want to say. I may see colours, a face, hair, objects; it varies from person to person. The reason why I may receive Spirit Guides straight away is because the person has made the intention to receive information from their guides, and their Guides are so excited to get started on giving me the messages! Some are very keen to make themselves known! 😝
I like to use a photo of the person the drawing is for as that helps me keep a better connection with their energy and therefore their Guides. Quite often I print it off and have it on my easel as I am creating the drawing so I have their energy close and I’m fully present and immersed.
When beginning the drawing, I ask my guides / angels to assist me with this and then open up to receive information / impressions about what the client needs to hear in their life right now for their highest good.
I then create the drawing in soft pastel. Sometimes I sketch it out in pencil first if I won’t be able to sit down and do the pastel straight away as I did in this piece below. But other times, I don’t receive much until I set the intention to start the drawing on my easel.
When creating this piece, I received many impressions early on so I sketched it out straight away & made notes of the initial impressions received. As I was drawing, the Guide was evolving and coming out on the paper more and more. Colours, symbolism and messages were all part of the process which helped me to write the letter & channelled message for the client.
When I am creating the drawing, I am getting so many impressions about personality and message, so as soon as I am done with the drawing, I sit down and write these down with an explanation of the symbology in their drawing. So the client receives a letter about this and also a Channeled message which is a message that is channelled directly from their guides to them with what they want to say to my client.
Now just so you know, the drawing isn’t always a Spirit Guide. It can be a symbolic drawing and sometimes it’s of that person’s Higher self, so it’s important for clients not to have an expectation of what they will receive.
It takes me a few hours to create the drawing, write the letter of impressions / symbolism and also the Channeled message. I am still developing my art skills. It’s been less than two years that I have been creating Spirit Guided drawings. Before that I could barely draw stick figures, but my own Spirit Guides pushed me in to this path, so here we are!
I am so grateful to my Spirit team for helping me on this journey and I am so very grateful to the clients who have trusted me to create their own piece for them. What an absolute honour. Thank you. 🙏🏼 💓 😍
